Though it seems that news agency's here in KCMO are using the SPLC as a source to try to bash a local nightclub that's opening soon, and of course, they didn't even talk to the nightclub staff or owners, just used what the SPLC said.
The SPLC is giving nightclub reviews now? Must be a club that plays country music without the required hip hop night.
From what I have seen if you do not agree with what the SPLC says then you are some sort of "hate group". Unfortunately if your only news outlet is network news you will believe anything that is put out by them. My grandparents are a good example of this. When we were there for Easter my grandfather began going off about "militias" since the news was going off about it. Since we have given up on teaching two nearly 90 year olds how to use the internet we are thinking about getting them some sort of intellegent magazine or newspaper subscription since the Tulsa World is not much better than network news. One good thing though- we have put our house up for sale here in Utah and are planning to move to Louisiana when it sells so please pray or send good thoughts our way that it will sell soon.

I wish you good luck when you get to Louisiana; I'm from there originally. While the Louisiana state economy is not in tip-top shape right now, it's better than some other states, such as California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, etc. The cuisine is the best, and you'll be in a part of the country that still maintains some values and sense, unlike California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, etc.
