Downtown Greensboro "Flash Mob" Beating Investigated By Police ...

... but they have to be "vewy, vewy, quiet" about it. Guess why:

It's happening all over the nation in places like Chicago, Milwaukee and Philadelphia. Now, it's happening right here in the Triad.

Greensboro police say mobs of violent teens are meeting up on the weekends and wreaking havoc downtown. Police say it's getting worse each weekend.

This past weekend, a former mayor had his business vandalized and another community leader got beat up in Center City Park.

"One of the teenagers came up from behind and just punched me in the back and kicked me and knocked me to the floor. Then, he just continued to kick me, punch me, step on me. People were screaming," Mitchel Sommers, executive director of the Community Theatre of Greensboro said.

Oddly, there are no descriptions of the "violent teens." But with a little detective work, it's easy to figure out. At 2:00 into the video, the reporter notes that the teens use Facebook on their mobile phones to coordinate their actions. And at 2:20 in, this intrepid investigator detected a key piece of evidence the reporter failed to mention - white fingers tapping at Blackberries!

So it must be those out-of-control Amish again.

This story hits home. I used to live and work in Greensboro, and met my wife-to-be when I got a part in a play at the Greensboro Community Theatre, where the attack took place. She had female lead, and I had two bit parts. After rehersals, we'd wander around the quiet streets and talk. Back then, downtown Greensboro was charming and peaceful -- and safe.

But then something called "progress" elbowed its way in.

I suspect the powers that be want to keep this embarrassing and growing problem out of the limelight because it would clash with Greensboro's "progressive" image. Just down the street from the Theatre where this attack occurred is the famous Woolworth's, one of the most sacred shrines of the Civil Rights Revolution. That building was just a decaying hulk in the days when my future wife and I strolled Greensboro's leafy streets on warm September evenings. Today, it houses The International Civil Rights Center & Museum. Without the overthrow of traditional society the Civil Rights Revolution accomplished, we wouldn't have seen the changes it forced through, from the federal takeover of private property, to the 1965 Immigration Reform Act, to the outpouring of welfare entitlements that's undermined the traditional family to the point where the black illegitimacy rate is now 71%.

Pardon me while I remember this old town the way it was.

Woe to the first victim exercising Right to Carry who pulls his gun and successfully defends himself. His worst fight will come after "law enforcement" gets involved.

But only this (or snow) is gonna dampen such behavior.

Hey Anon... The first who pulls his (her) gun will need to go "grey". That means ...walk away after the shooting, no 911 call, no providing first aid, just walk away....

This is what happens when the State schools raise children. There was a day when at 13 --- you were considered an adult -- and you were working. These days, an engineered created public school system keeps children in an "adolescent state" through their teens. We end up having 40 year old teenagers. They use the teen years for self-aggrandizement and entertainment through artificially created youth -- without responsibility. The State created "teenagers" as self-absorbed brats.

Anon @ David III:

I am a CCW range coach. I wish going 'grey' could be an option, but if you ever pull out your gun in that scenario, you ARE almost certainly going to meet the police. You can be sure the LEO's, who stand back in the face of crowds of these 'youts', will focus like a laser beam on the guy or gal who shoots back. Don't be amazed when those youts who "don't see nuthin'" regarding their own internal crimes provide a detailed description to the LEO's of anybody who shoots back at them.
No, you won't be able to walk away. You will probably be on your second magazine to defend yourself further from the enraged mob. Carry at least one extra. Consider practicing ground fighting handgun techniques. And condition yourself to walk around in Condition Yellow - basically alert and aware.
Most importantly, stay out of those murder holes.

"Young people" my ass! "Young, out-of-control negroes" is what they should say. And the police have said nothing about it to the public? Aren't they all about "public safety?" This is the bitter fruit of leftist multiculturalism and diversity. It will become a matter of life and death for whites before long. Welcome to the Third World. . .
