How To Dismantle the American Empire

Nice sentiments, but what's proposed here will not work. You cannot reform DC.

As Madeleine "The price is worth it" Albright told Colin Powell, "What's the point of having this superb military you're always talking about if we can't use it?"

Power's no fun if you can't flex it. And DC fairly bristles with it, ensuring that it will attract those who dream of dominating others at home and abroad.

The bottom line is that as long as the DC Empire exists, in control of so many souls. so much military might, and so much treasure, that power will be exercised. The only answer is what our friends in Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, and all the other captive nations of the Soviet Empire did. We must dismantle the monster State by State, city by city.

Same mentality as the police with their SWAT teams, armored personnel carriers, etc. What good is it if you can't use it? Never, ever give the state power. It'll always misuse it.

Some power is needed. An answer I like is to simply keep politicians poor. You could have a political class that's disallowed from owning anything at all, forced into a humble life. And you could ban fractional reserve banking and usury.

Greed seems to be the great destroyer. If you remove that, perhaps things better endure.

I don't know exactly how best such could be organised, but it makes more sense to me than does the current system.

Another idea: cops must wear cameras now. Let's put cameras on politicians!
