US Airstrikes Killed Nearly 300 Civilians in Mosul

The Evil Empire's Pentagram has struck again:

While Pentagon statements on them insisted everyone killed was an ISIS fighters, mounting evidence suggests US airstrikes against the city of Mosul have killed nearly 300 civilians, with attacks just last week burying over 150 people under the rubble of residential buildings in the city’s west.
But don't worry - the Pentagram promises a FULL INVESTIGATION. Yeah. But after all, you have to break a few eggs to make a democratic omelet. Liberating the world is hard work, and mistakes will be made (notice the passive voice).

Think we've learned any lessons from this? Check out this report:

Iraqi officials had previously predicted they’d have western Mosul fully “liberated” by the end of March. With just a few days left, the offensive remains largely stalled however, with the offensive moving at a snail’s pace. Hoping to speed things up, the US has announced another escalation, sending more combat troops into the city.
I just hope no one ever tries to liberate me.

A tale of two cities.

A different strategy was initiated in Allepo Syria, where Russian and Syrian chose to allow troops to go door to door vs using the Air Force to simply kill everyone.

Perhaps Shites are not as blood thirsty as Sunnis?
